Well...I'm not Ned, But when I translated the Hollywood strings I got major screwups. Most if not all...can't remember...were completely unusable. It was so messy I figured I'd just wait on them. I did the translation in OSX and I tried translation with Translator with little success as well. Translator requires OS9...but I don't think the long name problem is an issue with Translator...either way...no luck? It sounds like you're having better luck than I did. The same sample was assigned to every pitch...so loops and attacks weren't in the picture yet. Did you use the Logic converter or Translator? Thanks.
