Logic just uses that default location from what I can see -- there is no option to redirect the saving of DLS/giga samples. However, you can just move all the folders of samples to your audio samples drive/partition manually. Logic will search for them when you load each of the instruments the first time. When it finds them it will save the new locations to the instrument. The downside to this is that the searching can be pretty slow if you have several large drives -- you can be left staring at the hourglass for 30 or 60 seconds. To speed things up, load all the instruments in a related set in succession -- it seems that the search routine looks in the last tried folder first. Regards, Murray
