As a non-EXS user, the EXS file management nightmare is what is putting 
me off changing to EXS from SoftSampleCell. I just want to store a 
project's sample files with all the other project data so that I can 
recall that particular project in its entirety from thousands of 
others, and not worry about scanning a million hard drives, or whether 
the original EXS instrument has has been changed in the last 5 years, 
or deleted or renamed or whatever. Unfortunately, judging by Apple's 
file management on things like iPhoto and iTunes, it seems unlikely 
that the future direction will be towards making file management more 
relaxed.
