OR you could set up a three different groups, one for each pizz. sample, 
and key-switch between them.  Set the three lowest (or highest, 
whatever) notes in the instrument to switch between your samples, make a 
copy of all the notes you want to have a random value asigned to (if you 
  use a copy of the notes to switch, you will not switch during a 
sustained note you see) transpose them all down to the keyswitch range, 
and then run a transformer on them to randomize them.

It's not elegant, but it is simple.
