Hi Tim,

Make sure you have the dual processor option enabled in your audio hardware and drivers. It may be that, because you are using an old D24 system, you may have to have it unchecked.

If you can run with it on though, try putting an  I/O plugin on some of the EXS tracks. This will force them to run off of the second processor, and thus should increase your performance. You need to set the I/O plugins inputs and outputs, but can then just bypass the plugin. It just needs to be instanciated in order for it to do it's work.
