You can also open the Extensions window and then pick 'View Options' from the Finder's View menu. Check the 'version' checkbox and the window will show all versions for all files. Re: the 1.4 extension -- that was a problem when accessing mixedd mode CD-ROMs. Aren't you confusing 2 different problems (see FAQ 18.15)? I think my CD IS a mixed mode one, although I'm not exactly sure what is meant by that - it has files for other formats, eg Kontakt and HALion as well as samples in both aif and wav form. Does this make it mixed mode? Anyway, thanks to you I discovered that the DVD/CD extension that I have is 1.4.7 so wouldn't mind trying to change that as I'm running out of other ideas as to what the problem could be. Should I just get that off an OS 9 systems disk? Any other ideas as to what it should be? Is it worth reinstalling the ESX?
