1) Put the Gig archive in your sampler instruments folder. 
2) Select it in the EXS24's instrument selector. 

Logic will then extract the audio wavs and save them and build an exs
instrument(s) that emulates the Giga instrument(s). In fact this emulation is
pretty good for instruments that don't depend on Giga features the EXS24 lacks.
