It sounds like he is using Logic's audio editor???? Here's an excerpt from his page: "he used Logic Audio's built-in audio editor to perform surgery on the drum patterns. He tweaked every peak, such as the kick and clap transients, to play exactly on the beat, thus making the loops sample accurate-a process that involved some time stretching (the process of speeding up or slowing down a sound without altering its pitch) and cutting of segments surrounding the waveform peaks.
