When you mean dual bootable do you mean it won't boot with OS9. Some powerbooks do. I know the 12" doesn't....but my new 15" does....not sure about the 17"...however I suspect that it does not. Both the 12 and 17" models were new from the ground up this year. The 15" was an existing machine...how long it will continue to do this...or if the models coming out as I type still support this...no clue. They are phasing it out on all machines. You'll probably need to ask Apple this one. julie On Thursday, July 10, 2003, at 10:10 AM, nish1@... wrote: > > HEY EVERYBODY, > I am thinking about investing in a powerbook g4, but > i've heard i wont be able to use logic 4.7 or any of the plugins i > already have as it is not dual bootable. Is this true. > > > > > -------------------- > talk21 your FREE portable and private address on the net at > http://www.talk21.com > > <image.tiff> > > > ____________________________________________________________ > EXS* Users Group > - EXS/Logic FAQ: http://logicfaq.omega-art.com/ > - UNSUBSCRIBE: email exs-users-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com > - Contact list admin: email exs-users-owner@...m > - Free legal samples: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/exs-users/links/ > > Your use of Yahoo!
