The thing to watch out for when converting from Akai discs is that due to the nature of the partitian system on Akai CD roms and also some rather short sited programming from the manufactureres. Akai discs often have samples with the same name on. When you convert a lot of discs it is easy to end up with a very confussed ESX when several different sample instruments are looking for samples with the same name. I.E. Great Kick or fat snare. Some times it's better to convert your Akai discs to disc images and leave them on your hard drive. Catalog them with Cd extract and then only pull off what you need. Also bear in mind that you need the full version of CD extract to do this properly. Regards Rupert logict
