Hi, I found that the 32 zones and groups limit are gone away at least in 6.1, now I have another huge problem: Can you please verify if this happens to you too? Assume I have 4 samples assigned to 4 different groups The samples play on the whole keyboard Groups are "clean" apart Select by: (if you can't see it select the item from the view menu) Select by is assigned to Midi CC Controller in the 4 Groups It doesn't matter which Controller number you choose (I say 1 since it's modulation and it is easy to verify!) You assign Group 1 to be selected when CC is between 0 and 31 You assign Group 2 to be selected when CC is between 32 and 63 You assign Group 3 to be selected when CC is between 64 and 95 You assign Group 4 to be selected when CC is between 96 and 127 Now if you play a note on the keyboard you should hear the sample assigned to the group with CC 0-31 What happens is that you can only switch between two samples (or groups which is more appropriate) for every CC. What you were supposed to have was to switch between the 4 (or 8, or 16 or whatever) groups (with assigned samples)... this doesn't happen and makes me feeling very bad... Every other *+#> soft sampler from the competition can do this easily (Halion, kontakt, Gigastudio and I bet MachFive too)... Problem is that I am a Logic user and I want to develop my library mainly for EXS then for the other formats... this way I won't be able to deliver it for EXS... Can you please verify this for me? If you encounter the same problems as I, can you please send tons of email to Emagic telling them about this problem? I love Emagic but it's a love and hate thing lately... more and more... Best regards, Simone Coen www.chocolateaudio.com
