EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Someone with a lot of looping experience: please tell me there's a better 
way to gain access to the hundreds of unmarked loops on audio CD's than 
manually marking, naming and extracting individual files as I am now doing. 
I'm new to this game and am desperately hoping I'm missing something 
obvious here. Even the discs with index markers aren't anywhere accurate 
enough to be useful, and non-drum loops where downbeats aren't clearly 
defined are a total nightmare.

Is this unbelievably tedious process really part and parcel of this trade, 
or is there a method or program that can help automate this procedure? TIA 
for any help.
