Thanks guys for the input. I suppose my needs are fairly modest. I just need the velocity to amplitude, and keyswitching to work . Sounds like from what you guys are saying that I'm probably in business - having one (exs) library being able to be shared between Logic and DP-- cool! --- In exs-users@yahoogroups.com, "beatz" <beatz@w...> wrote: > You're probably right, but i know that you can create instruments from samples! The EXS instrument editor is available in Logic whether your EXS sampler demo has run out or not ;). All you have to do is create your instruments, via the menu (can't remember which one, probably "Audio"?). Then you play them with your player! Bear in mind however, that if you are looking for extensive modulation routing facilities, the Player lacks the sophisticated features that you will find on the EXS24II. This is why i presume complex patches will not port to the player without loss of programming. If all you need is velocity modulating volume, or filters, then you're up and running! (even though the filters sound better and present more options on the EXS24) > Personally, i would recommend the EXS24 if you're into heavy tweaking, and the player for milder modulation of pgm's. By the way, if you get the EXSP to work as a multichannel in logic, please let me know!
