Correct.

Not correct.  The EXSP can't edit/save instruments but only load them 
-- hence the "player" part.  Only the EXS (mk I or II) can edit/save 
instruments.

And saying that there's not much difference between the EXS (mk I) 
and the EXSP is a tad misleading too imo.  If you only use prefab 
instruments, the difference indeed is irrelevant but as soon as you 
want to add a zone or layer, or build your own instrument from 
scratch, the difference is massive -- in that the one won't allow you 
to make such changes/instruments and the other will.
