Thanks, Julie, you're right---Soundsonline only had the Akai and Giga 
versions. I was a little late in looking into this seriously, so I'll be 
waiting for the next sale! Since the demos on their site are all pretty 
mellow, I'd be curious to hear your opinion of how the PMI 290 works when 
played more aggressively in a higher energy pop or rock format?
