One other thing I will mention is that the Bardstown Bosendorfer is totally unprocessed. No noise reduction, filters, or eq's, were used in the the processing of this piano. All notes at all velocity levels and articulations were sample recorded. There are no pitch shifted notes on this piano. These types of effects processing on sampled instruments have diminishing effects on the life and character of sampled instruments. The Bardstown Bosendorfer was recorded at the highest signal levels possible without clipping using the very best recording equipment and a/d conversions in order to have the purest and cleanest sounding samples for this beautiful Bosendorfer Imperial Model 290.
