Are you using EXS 24  or EXS24 II? Wich logic version are you using?

Logic 6.2.1, EXS24 II, Dual 1.25 Mac Mirror Door, dual boot, OS9.2.2 
1.5 gig memory.

Maybe a 6.2 bug. I`m using EXS24 with logic 5.5. OSX with no problems.... 
Have you tried with  OSX ?

AFAIK, 6.1.1 is the latest version of Logic able to run on OS 9.2.2.

v. 6.2 and up has been OS X only so far.

I had the same problem too, but I have cleaned some of my ESX lib. But the
instrument setting I have lost where still there !

This is very strange, they may be a bug somwhere !
