Hi,

What is it exactly you wanna do? Are the samples stored on the internal
harddisk of the Akai?
For the zip, there's an easy solution: http://www.cdxtract.com can convert
the data from any Akai medium to EXS format. So, just connect the Zip drive
with your computer and convert it with cdxtract. You're on Mac though, and I
don't think there's a Mac version of cdxtract yet (it's in the works though).
Maybe there are similar Mac programs available now which I don't know.

As for the internal harddisk: make a SCSI raw copy of it to an ISO image file
e.g. and then burn a CD of this. Then convert this CD with the Logic
conversion tool or something like cdxtract. You can also do this for the ZIP
disks e.g.

Hope this helps,
Joeri

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
