Great. You'll love 'em.

I believe that people mentioned a good deal here recently about a Wizoo
set which included a good piano for $99. IMHO, you won't find great
sounds for dirt cheap. The newest string libraries are typically
expensive. Are you looking for string ensembles or both?
Having said that though, there are two new orchestral sets which are
supposed to provide great bang for the buck. That is Garritan Personal
Orchestra (http://www.garritan.com) and EastWest Quantum Leap Orchestra
SILVER (http://www.soundsonline.com). Both libraries provide an entire
library of orchestral sounds (brass, strings, winds, etc.) and they are
$249 and $299 respectively and come with their own player (based on
Kontakt). If $249 is too much for you, then you're probably out of
luck in trying to find a "great string library".
