Virtual memory on EXSP

Virtual memory on EXSP

2003-11-21 by Gregory Anderson

Can the EXSP access virtual memory? I have the extension loaded (Mac OS9),
but don't see anywhere to turn it on. It doesn't work only with gig files,
does it?

I'm trying to play the new XXL Wizoo Grand I got, and don't know if my max
of 1.5GB of RAM, which requires another 256mb to be added, will be enough to
load it.

So far, the normal mid dry+res piano is different from, but not necessarily
better than, the Akai splendid grand I downloaded for free. Has anyone else
compared the two?

And is anyone else able to load the full normal XXL Dry+res Wizoo grand on a
Mac with a mere 1.5 gigs of RAM?

Thanks,

Gregory

I'm not sure about the EXSP. In the EXS 24, it's at the bottom of the
options menu on the front interface. If it's not there, I think you are S!@t
out of luck :-( Since there is not editor window for the EXSP, you probably
can't access the preferences; which is the only other place it might be.

I am apparently SOL, as there is no option like that in my OPTIONS menu on
the EXSP24. Thanks for the info.
