EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi Group,

Since my recent four years running Logic on a PC system I have a bunch of
Kontakt sounds - with ".nki" extension. Now I'm working on a Mac system and
need to convert those sound banks for the EXS24. Is this possible?

I own the cdXtract software for both Mac and PC, but I could not find any
help in there. I can't use the PC right now since the motherboard is broken
and I'm waiting for a new one.

There is no way currently to make that conversion--PC, Mac or otherwise. It 
has been mentioned by Garth as a future possibility for Translator, but it 
hasn't happened yet.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye at Translator :-)

With this post I was just interested in hints on Kontakt/EXS conversion. The
PC/Mac thing seems not to be any problem at all these days; OSX gives access
to almost any document saved from a Windows application.

Can't you move your PC Kontakt to a Mac Kontakt licence ?

Of course that is possible (a big hand for NI multi platform policy!). But I
prefer to stick with the EXS24.
