2003-11-22 by bardstown_audio

Here is a new demo produced by Alan Russell, featuring the 24 bit
Bardstown Bosendorfer Imperial Grand Model 290 and one of the
acoustic jazz guitars from the Bardstown "Vintage Jazz Guitars and
Tenor Banjos" collection..

Enjoy!

Alan just did a re-mix of "All Of Me" setting the Bosendorfer back in
the mix with some reverb. This has more of a live jazz club sound.

Here is the link..

yo man, that is musically unlistenable, although the samples sound amazing.

I don't know if you were soliciting comments or not, but that's mine.

I'd just lose that guitar (it's stepping on everything) and turn up
the bass. But I agree, the piano sounds really great.

Thanks for the compliments and comments!

Personally I probably would have done the guitar rhythm a bit
differently with a steady 4/4 chunk rhythm, which is more along the
line of Freddie Green. Alan's syncopated guitar rhythm style in this
demo is an appropriate style and is the type of guitar rhythm that he
is accustomed to hearing. Alan has had several years experience
playing with some of the best musicians in the country.

All the best,

I am not sure I would lose it but I would see about sliding it around
in time. Sounds like the player is around 1/16th note off, probably
early. He is so far out of the pocket that I cannot tell easily if he
is late or early.
