Yes using a dual 800 G4 with 9.2.2 and the serial adapter for two MTPII's --
zero problems...

Are you using the Griffin or the Stealth serial adapter?

I am using a dual 1.25GHz G4 with OSX 10.3.2, Stealth port, and a MOTU 
MIDI Express XT. Works beautifully.
