EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I am running Logic Platinum 5.5.1 and have recently added the EXS24 for OS 
X.  But when I launch EXS from the mix window, none of my old AKAI samples 
show up in the menu (I had loaded thousands of samples through the EXS 
player when I was running OS 9).  When I select "search" it asks for a filter?  
What does this mean?  How can I get the sampler to see my old samples.
