EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

hi,

is there an easy way to do the following that i am missing?

  make a drum kit with lots of kicks,sn,hh.

select multiple kicks and map them out from C1 using the chromatic 
mapping.. NOW i
want to select a whole bunch of snares and  map them out from the note 
above where the last kick is mapped.
Exs tells me that chromatic will map the snares from C1 again... so 
then i have to move them all individually up the keyboard to free 
notes....same agian with hh, etc...

any tips?

no...I think you can select them all and then do a command called shift 
selected zone(s) right or left (include root key).  I don't know what 
the key command is....you may have to assign it in the key commands 
window.

Correct, the key commands for these aren't assigned by default. Also 
remember to assign each of your new sounds to a single group, because you 
can select an entire group by using the key command for "select zones by 
pointing to selected groups." You can then shift the entire group together 
rather than zone by zone. We're all still patiently waiting for the 
obviously missing rubberband editing.
