EXS can't find instruments

I know this has been discussed at length before, and I apologize for not paying closer attention to it. Lately, one group of instruments can't be found by the EXS Sampler. If I reload them all, then it can find them again....until the next time I boot up Logic. These are good, commercially-produced instruments too. Anyone have any suggestions?
