EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi all.

re converting akai programmes
 eg Ult piano in 2 layers
 a) low velocity
 b) high velocity
 able to convert them individually but
 how do i merge the 2 into ONE ex24 instr
 besides manually one sample at a time.
 any advise is appreciated.

- Decide for one of the converted patches to be the target patch.
- Open both in the EXS editor (best thing would be to do that using tiled
editor windows).
- In the "source" patch, do a CTRL-A and CTRL-C.
- In the "target" patch do a CTRL-V.
- Eventually set up proper velocity splits in each layer's group.
- Save that patch (either under a new name or under the target patch's
name).

Shouldn't take much more than a minute or so.
