[EXS] Menu Not Displaying All Instruments

[EXS] Menu Not Displaying All Instruments

2004-06-18 by Paul Najar

I've just re arranged my EXS sampler instruments and now the instrument
menu won't display all the patches. It misses whole folders and and
only partially displays the contents of other folders. I've tried
refreshing the menu and have even left the project manager re scanning
the whole system overnight.

The PM finds everything but I still can't get the EXS instrument menu
to display it all. When I create a new instrument it says I have 6120
instruments.

Any clues?

Thanks

I've had this problem with nested folders. The particular instruments that were
causing the problem were the AKAI S5000 archives. I tried to put all of the volumes in
a single master folder. That folder could not be recognized. Getting rid of the master
folder solved the problem.

Hope this helps,
