<very off-topic: no follow-ups to the group please>

Hi gang,

I hope you'll excuse me for using the group for a private msg, but I
know quite a few people here would be interested to know, so this is
the easiest and safest way to make sure I reach them all.

On Thursday, July 15th, my wife gave birth to a beautiful (of course!
:-) daughter and son, Noia and Mink. My wife's at home, recovering,
and the kids are in the hospital, gaining some strength since they
were a bit premature (born at 35,5 weeks). They're doing very, very
well and hopefully they'll come home somewhere this weekend.
Following in the footsteps of their father, the kids have set up
their own bilingual website, for the insatiably curious, at
http://minknoia.omega-art.com/.

Mildly on-topic section: it's obviously to be expected that the
frequency of my contributions will go down a bit now that I have to
change diapers and feed two babies 8 times a day -- in cooperation
with my wife of course, but still...

Hendrik "gleaming with pride" Jan

Wow, Hendrik - congratulations to you and your wife, and a great, long,
happy life to the newborns.

Hurry up and teach the twins how to use EXS... that way we'll have two
other geniuses to bug!

Best,

Ned

That's what I just wanted to say as well :-) !

All the best to you and to the whole (now large) family!

Congratulation Hendrik Jan. And what a really sweet web site. They look
really adorable and you all look like a happy family. Best of luck.

Actually, they may go up. You probably won't be getting too much sleep
the first few months. You'll have lots of unplanned for extra "awake"
time. You may find that checking and writing email will likely be a
soothing calming distraction and a nice way to either take a break or
wind back down in the middle of the night when your sleep is
interrupted.
