EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Geniuses,

Do any of you out there know how to convert Kawai K3 files to EXS format?  

I contacted the Kawai tech & site and downloaded their 'Internal.k3p' and 'Cartridg.k3p', 
but can't open them.  

I also downloaded their K3 Factory files with no file extensions (ex.: K3PD01), the K3lib 
which had only one file: K3EXT_G.  I also got a K3 Folder with 17 .SYX files.  
What to do—that's a question.

I'm working with Logic Pro 6 and it's EXS24 Sample Editor, but just can't get any of these 
files to open or convert.  H E L P ! !

A K3 is a synthesizer, which means that the patches reference samples that 
are burned onto the chip inside the K3. The files don't hae the wavedata, 
so there is no samples to convert to EXS format.

I suppose some person with nothing better to do could convert the patch 
data to similar representations as an EXS file, but without the samples 
that's useless.

You can use AutoSampler to convert any synth patch to Exs instruments and
samples

Or he could use Redmatica's AutoSampler, which automatically plays 
the synth, samples it in great detail, and automatically builds and 
EXS program.
