Simultaneous Recording Of Multiple Midi Tracks!

Dear EXS24 users! I would very much like to use Logic (EXS24) for my live performances. I want my external sequencer to play multiple instruments (of the EXS24) at the same time using different midi channels on each track. I got hold of the logic 7 manual and found this: From page 122: "Multiplayer Recording Incoming MIDI events are distributed to the various record enabled tracks, according to their transmitted MIDI channel numbers. The channel of the incoming event must correspond to a record enabled track's channel, in order for this functionality to work. If no track is found with the corresponding channel number, the event will be routed, and recorded, onto the selected track. Be sure that the different MIDI controllers transmit on different channels. If this is not possible, simply use different inputs on your MIDI interface, and change the MIDI channel of each input, using a Transformer Object between the Physical Input and Sequencer Input (see "Physical Input/Sequencer Input Objects" on page 236)". As far as I understand this means that it is really possible to record on several midi channels in logic 7? (It is only possible as a workaround in logic 6 - the version I own now - and only in play mode) So: Can I: 1:Have logic in stop mode 2: Record enable 3 audioinstruments and do the following: set audioinstrument 1 to receive on midi channel 1 audioinstrument 2 to receive on midi channel 2 audioinstrument 3 to receive on midi channel 3 3: Send midi information from my external sequencer on all 3 channels at once and logic plays back all channels simultaneously? Hope it's possible! Could some one perhaps try this out? I will be very grateful to you! Thanks in advance, Pixel
