i'm trying to completely go w/o external MIDI gear and keep everything native (softsyths, samplers, etc.) in my dual G5. can anyone recommend the best bass CD-ROM/VSTi? best synth PAD CD-ROM/VSTi? thanks. tv

Sascha is right, but then again he may not be -- it depends upon what you want. Yellow Tools has a massive bass guitar sample library called Majestic. Very very comprehensive and good. Bob Vandiver

It won last years awards and can do this and much more as a soft synth. Pad morphing is awesome, not to mention leads and bass. Give it a try at http://www.camelaudio.com before you buy. /Reid
