This was very helpful.
Yes sometimes you wanna upright piano sound, instead
of grand... what kind room/micing... i.e. classical
concert sounding piano or close miced jazz or pop
piano. Every genre has different preferred sounds.I
will check Post bendorfer as well as ivory.
thank you

I haven't tried Ivory, but I agree with Nick about the Post Bosey.
Beautiful sample in a variety of settings. I also like the White Grand a
lot, as it's bright and dry and works better in a pop or rock setting. The
Vintaudio C7 is also very versatile with three recording perspectives, and
Vintaudio also has a very nice upright. The last piano I have is the Art
Vista Malmsjo---a must-have for all us Thomas Newman fans.

Does anyone know how the Post Bosendorfer differs from
"The Emperor" which is also a Bosendorfer by Post?
thanks, JP
