Heya fellow ex essers. Does anyone have any idea why it is when I load
certain files from certain libraries, the TURN on LOOP and the sample is silent?
When I activate ONE SHOT I hear the sample but LOOP is silent. When I open
the sample audio file and examine the wave everything appears normal. The
start and stop point seems to be at the beginning and end. Wierd...

Hey guys- thanks for offering to help with my loop situation. I figured it
out. (shakes head) The in and outs defaulted to zero so it wouldnt play.
What was throwing me was this: Apples manual says there is a LS (loop
start) and EL (end loop) marker but I could never find it. All I saw was S
(start) and E (end) and THEY were always in the right place (i.e. 'S' was at the
beginning of the sample and 'E' at the end) I used the In and OUT boxes and
manuelly hand wrote the times rather than looking for markers to move by mouse
grab and drag.

Do you all have LS and LE? And if you do where are they shown?

PS: THanks Gareth for you offer to help!

They are in the sample editor. Click the "E" in the EXS instrument
editor to bring it up.
Both the LS & LE can be quite hard to see if they are at the start and
end of the sample.
Just to check it out for yourself, change the start and end points
quite drastically before
opening the sample editor and you'll see them clearly.
