Thanks for responding Mark. I was concerned that there had been no comment
from the moderators on what was a concern about moderation of posts. I hope
you and Sascha can sort this out to everyone's satisfaction.

I would like to add my own thanks to Sascha for everything he has
contributed here and elsewhere and express my hope that he will stick around.

I spotted the article in the link below by John Dvorak recently. The free
exchange of views on forums of this type does not have a great future if he
is on the money.

I'd like to also apologize for not spotting this earlier.

Mark and I have double checked, and Sascha remains set to unmoderated
like most members of this forum, and there have been no changes to his
posting status here, so I'm also a bit baffled as to why Sascha feels
like he has been censored. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it soon.

I've mentioned this on the LUG a few times, but I have been spending a
lot of time setting up hand-rolled forums on the www.logic-users.org
website recently as well as a LUG Wiki, which are ever so close to
being ready to unveil. Were Yahoo to decide having YahooGroups around
was too risky, everything is designed to make a break simple and
painless.. Of course we'll continue to set things up to avoid as much
spam and as many spammers as possible.

Best wishes
Jeremy

I'm sticking here!! Having been with the Logic group for more than 12
years, or version 1.06.
Scary really.... Remember writing messages to the Logic user group,
run by Fokke, on my Powerbook 520 and an old banksia 14.4kbps modem.
I used to ba mattrixx@... ...... wow now that's going
back! :-)
I remember there only being a couple of hundred online users at that
stage and the developers including Gerhard himself were extremely
active and helpful participants.

Best Regards,
Matt
