use mapped instrument for EXS24 drums?

use mapped instrument for EXS24 drums?

Is it possible to use a mapped instrument for an EXS24 drum instrument
- so that each note shows up as the correct type of drum? Thanks, Les
Caudle

Yes, I just discovered it myself. Just cable a mapped instrument to
the audio instrument fader, that has your EXS drum kit, and use the
"mapped instrument" instead of the "audio instrument".

What I was wanting to do was map to multiple exs24's, so that I
could send them through different processing, and mix faders. But only
the first one would play, and the others would only play if the
sequencer was running, and then they responded about 600-700ms behind.
If you record it though, it will playback fine. Too bad about that
bug. Anybody know anything about that, or how to workaround it?
Mapping to multiple EXS24, or any plugin, could be an incredibly
powerful feature, if you think about it.
