I just purchased a piano sample disc that came in wav format,  EXS doesn't
seem to recodnize it.  How do I convert to aiff or what ever will get into
the EXS. It's also pretty big close to 3 gig ( 500 or so samples). I'd
appreciate any help.

EXS can play WAV as well as AIFF.
Your problem is somewhere else.
What's the format of the piano?
Did you place the Sampler Instrument of the piano,into your Sampler 
Instrument folder?

Which format is the disc in?
There's gotta be some instrument definitions of some kind...
