Still it's like with any > sample library: it's nowhere close to what a player does. Is that the Larry Campbell sample collection? He's an outstanding player (and a lovely guy) and I'm sure he would have done a great job. But the problem with dobro, slide, and, especially, pedal steel is that the standard keyboard/sampler setup is an incredibly awkward interface to reproduce what these instruments can do. I think it will take a rethinking along the lines of realguitar to make anything that sounds even vaguely realistic. Any developers out there up for the challenge? Best Wishes, Michael A.
