altering sample start times

2001-07-16 by ythan@btinternet.com

hello list members..
does anyone know if its possible to set up logic/exs so that i can
alter sample start times via CC, or something like that? id like to
be able to quickly and easily try different start times on loop
samples and im having a pretty horrible time trying to figure out
some way to do this without it taking forever. any clues to help
speed up this laborious process would be very welcome..

thanks

andy

According to the MIDI Controller List in the manual, "Start Fixed" is
CC#73. To get it to work, hook up a fader in the environment and set
it to ouput CC#73--you could even transform the mod wheel this way.
