asking that I got :

Hello Cyril!

Unlike your musical gear, music CDs, or even software, you cannot give away
or sell these discs to someone else. YOU DID NOT PURCHASE THE DISC. YOU
PURCHASED A LICENSE TO USE OUR SOUND RECORDINGS IN YOUR MUSIC. This license
cannot be transferred by you.
This is also written in our Terms of Licence here:
http://www.vsl.co.at/en-us/211/297/167.vsl

.......
With kind regards

I'm sure you've heard of this before, no Cyril? Ça fait un moment que
tu roules ta bosse, Il me semble. ;-)

I think the rules are different in a few countries, but I may be wrong.

Vienna Instruments require a Syncrosoft license (Vienna Key), so they
may be allowing the transfer of the dongle licenses. Not sure why the
Horizon libraries would be different though, as they are tradition
sample libraries.

Dear Cyril, Thanks for your email. I'm glad that you get in contact
with us BEFORE buying or selling a Vienna Instrument because the
tansfer of a Vienna Instruments license to another user is not possible
without our involvement and permission (licenses of our earlier
products, i.e., Horizon Series, Pro Edition and First Edition cannot be
transferred). Vienna Symphonic Library allows a license transfer
under certain, regulated circumstances. The procedure is as follows: 1.
The handling fee for the license transfer is EUR 50.00. 2. Announce name
and email address of the original user and the user the license should
be transfered to. 3. Hand over the complete product to the new user: the
DVDs in their original packaging (including serial number), the Vienna
Instruments software CD, the manual as well as the registered ViennaKey
which contains the product license. 4. The new user has to register as a
user on our website if he hasn't done so already and confirm that he
has received the material listed in 3) to request the change of the
registration data. 5. The license will be transfered to the new user.
Please note that we don't allow reselling through platforms like
eBay or similar, so you'll have to find a buyer/seller privately.
Also, please don't hesitate to contact me if any question pops up! All
the best from Vienna, Stefan Steinbauer -- Vienna Symphonic Library
