EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi

I want to control some parameters on my EXS24 from the eight 
knobs on my Yamaha AN1X synth. When I look at the MIDI 
controllers list in the EXS manual it says that e.g LFO2 rate uses 
controller number 105. Now, I can´t set the controller numbers 
on the AN1X higher than 95. What do I do?

Second question: Any ideas about what eight parameters I 
should control from the eight knobs?. (most useful for creative 
programming /live performance). Filter cutoff and resonance of 
course, but what else??

   Just remap them using a transformer cabled to the "audio 
instrument" that has the "EXS24" that you want to control. You'll add 
a transformer for each controller that you want to remap. For instance 
remap cc#95 to cc#105. 

   If you want, you can just set those transformer/s between the 
"physical input", and the "sequencer input", probably in your "clicks 
and ports environment", then the transformed controller will 
be recorded, and can be seen and edited instead of those controllers 
being transformed just ahead of the "audio instrument's" playback, as 
it will be if you just cable to the "audio instrument". I hope I said 
that right.....

I guess u can use a transformer thing to transform incoming cc 95 to cc 105=
, or whatever cc u want to use
