Hi,
I have the same machine and it speced on the
apple site with 512 being the maximum memory it
can take. I pushed the envelope and found that it
ran fine with 748...booting could be slow. I ran it
up to a gig and had trouble booting. I'm currently
running with 640 mg and everything is fine.
Whether or not you need that much depends on
how your using Logic.

I have the bronze keyboard and use 384MB of RAM. Never had memory problems
in logic before. DSP is my major limitation. I'm currently looking at the
RME Hammerfall PCMCIA, but haven't successfully completed the setup for
testing yet... Jer
