Ack, cheers for the extra info - but you cant directly burn an S3000 CD from
these....

*.S3P : These are files produced by MESA (Akai's sampler management
programme) They are basically Akai programmes encoded as sysex IIRC. i.e.
the patch info minus the sample data. You should be able to use chicken
systems Translator (www.chickensys.com - way cool and converts many other
formats too. Also free demo to test this for you!) to convert these to EXS24
format but its not free :-(

*.TD0 : These are files made from an akai format floppy using Teledisk (Its
basically a way of archiving or sharing images of akai format floppies). All
you can do with these is convert them back to akai format floppies for use
with Sxxxx samplers. I think you could use teledisk to convert to an akai
floppy, then use mesa to convert from floppy to .s3p as above then use
translator.

I think thats your only options unless someone else knows a cunning
trick....
