Come on Igor, I know that you want me to work night and day to have
your Mac version but it wont be available in a few weeks. The 3.6 is a
completely new version and will be the base of the Mac version. There
are many pitfalls in the Mac programming that I discover from time to
time. The Mac is a great machine however the OS is not that great,
the memory manager and the file manager are very slow compared to
the PC. I am completely out of schedule for the beta, mostly because
the 3.6 PC took me much of my time. I do my best to have a working
version for the end of this year, this is just an estimation as I cannot
foresee all the Mac programming problems I may bump into.

The customers will be notified soon, I just need to finish a couple of
things on my website.

Seriously - I'm very keen to run CDXtract and I look forward to the
release date. Please could you post to this group when you have some
news?

Why not program for OSX instead if your projections are distant? I know
application development for OSX is not there yet, but soon most music
applications will migrate to the newer and more memory efficient OS. I'll
bet there'll be a lot of people moving to the new OS in 6 months. Conjecture
I know, but just thinking out loud really. When mainstream web apps,
graphics apps and sound apps are comfortably migrated, I will be switching
myself. My understanding is that Apple is using Emagic hardware as the basis
for developing its specs and any native support for musicians. I'm probably
rambling, so...
