Should be available through your emagic distributor. I've ordered it in
Australia from the
emagic distributor in Melbourne. Hope to have it in 2 weeks time.

Paul.

4.8.1 is up

2001-10-22 by Murray McDowall

Hi everyone,

Logic 4.8.1 is up on www.emagic.de and is has some EXS24 enhancements.
The one mentioned in the update info file is that the Delay and Decay
parameters for
LFO 1 now work with the pan and Tremolo settings as well. Nice effect on
electric
piano patches etc.

I haven't spotted any changes to the instrument editor etc where a few
enhancements
are long overdue.

Regards,
Murray

1. What's the function off the *.pst files on the cd-rom. They're in
the directory 'advaced users' 'to plug-in settings'

*.pst extentions are usually PRESET files, so I guess they are Presets you can load into EXS24...

Correct. There's a read-me file on the CD that explains the purpose
of these files.

The cd got a very good review in German keyboards. I think it will not
really *compare* to Pro52 (one of my favourites) but will have a life of
it's own. I love the creative filter of the EXS24 and it's about time we can
use it to make good synth sounds! I'm waiting for my copy of Xtreme
Analog...

I see filters as the personal signature of a synth developer. They all sound
different and that's what makes it fun!
