Here's an article that says the exs already does disk streaming of samples!
Is this true? Can't find any mention of it on emagic's site...

Before anyone gets excited about this (and perhaps it is true), GigaSampler
folks own a trademark for this technology which has kept many developers
from testing their legal rights to something I'm sure we all feel should be
public domain. There may be developers who are more daring, gearing up to
endure lawsuits from trademark owners, but Emagic may not be one of them. I
read about this issue in a trade magazine that didn't offer much hope for
Halion/EXS24 owners. However, they may play hardball yet. If Emagic is
planning such a feet, the rep sure didn't mention it when she demoed Logic
5-Alpha. I'll keep my fingers crossed as well. -Jer

Thanks for clearing the air on this. My apologies for adding to the
confusion. Just goes to show, you can't trust everything you read, not even
in music trade magazines, ha ha! -Jer
