Try and rebuild your desktop.. I use a similar setup and do not have this
problem

Yes!  Me wants to see that feature too. It should also be possible to define
which disk to search on and not only "local-, external, or all- volumes" in
the prefs. The possibility to cancel an automatic search/conversion process
would be appreciated too.

And a normal dialog fileselector with prelisten feature like in SampleCell,
please.
