Eric,

Count me as another user that would love to see additional Groove Control
EXS stuff in these genres. Your comments re: big NAMM plans wouldn't have
anything to do with the TBA "Brazilian Beats" (can't remember the exact
name) set that was one of the original 3 GC sets that has kind of
disappeared from sight, would it?

You mentioned having done these things on Roland formats; would they be
something that might get ported/reformatted/updated for the EXS?

Regards,

I have a request too Eric...

Much of my work is in pastiche composition, and one area I find samples in
short supply is in the world of jazz.

For example, I know that you have created brilliant vocal jazz samples, but
no jazz flute, or harmonica. Other instruments would help too - You get the
point, I am sure!!!

Also, does spectrasonics have any plans to bring groove control discs out
directly in EXS format?

A lot of these instruments I have already sampled previously for Roland, so
it is a little less interesting for us to do it again.....but....like I said,
we have so much material that is in progress, and there's definitely a lot of
great stuff for Jazz in there.

Nope...you'll see on Jan. 17th.

Much of that material belongs to Roland and is the basis for their XV synths
and Expansion boards....but there's a lot of material that we own too. You'll
just have to wait and see...
