Some more patches for the new year

Some more patches for the new year

2001-12-31 by Sascha Franck

This time you don't need to enter any other website, it's all included
because I sampled and looped everything by myself.

Note: all the instrument patches have no UI settings applied, so you can
fool around by yourself.
Also, just in case wonder, whenever you had another instrument loaded
before, the UI settings will be copied to these instruments. Even a good
thing as you can load existing patches including a nice UI setting, then you
can just load my EXS instruments and see what they sound like with others
than the standard settings.

JFYI, I sampled a bunch of virtual instruments the last days, some I don't
have, so I had to do it on a friends machine (someone owning virtually any
VSTi around).

All the following patches contain 5 samples (C1-5).

www.saschafranck.de/exs/TBL_rez01.zip (240kb)
www.saschafranck.de/exs/TBL_std_deep.zip (190kb)
Pretty much a basic bass thing, only monophonic, of course the EXS patches
can be used polyphonic as well.

www.saschafranck.de/exs/FM7_mw_boost.zip (750kb)
www.saschafranck.de/exs/FM7_vectory.zip (2.5MB, worth it though I think)
Two patches from N.I.s FM7 I liked a lot. I sampled a bunch more, but
actually most of them are hard to loop, even in Wavelab. Maybe I will post
some more later on (next year that is :-)

www.saschafranck.de/exs/Tau_deep.zip (60kb)
A basic patch from Muons freebie Tau. I allways liked the sound but wanted
it to be polyphonic and respond to pitchbend. This patch of course does. I
use that one kinda often. The only file also containing one plugin preset.

www.saschafranck.de/exs/OrganStrings09.zip (210kb)
These are a bunch of patches from an extremely cheesy sounding old Roland
organ that was still hanging around here. Allways a good choice if you need
a real cheap sound.

Allright, off now, to the NYE gig.

Cheers,
Sascha

Hi Sascha,

I'd like to try your patches but I have yet to get through to your page on
a few attempts over a couple of days since New Year. Is your server
off-line some of the time?

Regards,
Murray

Hi Murray,
Pretty weird as the server is supposed to work all the time - I mean, I'm
running my mail through it as well and I'm regularly using the space for
some files, never had a single problem (plus I just crosschecked all the
links).
Maybe you could just try again... if it still doesn't work I could try to
contact the hosting company.

Regards,
Sascha

Weird too.
I just checked with GetRight and everything was just fine. I could drag a
link onto it, I could resume it, everything it's supposed to do.

Thanks for mentioning though,
Sascha

Hi Sascha, hi list,

yesterday I read some old posts on LUG and decided to download ClickSynth
from your site (thanks for posting that, btw.), and I had to disable
GetRight to find the file on your site - maybe that is the same problem
here?

Regards, Tora

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
