I've found other posts with the same problem on the list, but I don't have another CDROM drive, so I can't change anything that way - it's a standard ATAPI CDROM, now RW or anything. And I've tried changing the speed to 4x, that doesn't work either. Help. My SCSI cd-rom does this. The solution for me is to open the tray by hand while Logic is trying to find the cd.
